Expedited and Team Service

Time-sensitive transportation where capacity, legal hours and route conditions permit.

When a shipment supports a production deadline, urgent replenishment or a critical customer commitment, the delivery plan needs careful attention. VEXO Logistics reviews expedited and team-driver options based on the lane, available equipment and the time the freight is genuinely ready to move.

Match the service to the deadline

Expedited transportation focuses on a tighter shipment schedule. Depending on the freight and route, the appropriate option may involve dedicated equipment, a team-driver arrangement or another approved solution. The assessment starts with the required arrival time and works back through pickup readiness, transit, stops and receiving access.

Understand what a team can change

A team arrangement uses two qualified drivers to support vehicle movement across longer periods while each follows applicable driving and rest requirements. It does not eliminate loading time, congestion, inspections, weather disruption or equipment issues. A realistic plan matters more than an unsupported promise of nonstop travel.

Remove avoidable delays before pickup

Confirm that the freight, paperwork and loading team will be ready at the agreed time. Provide an accurate after-hours contact and confirm that the receiver can accept delivery when the truck arrives. For border shipments, the customs broker and required documents need to be included in the schedule from the start.

Confirm the service in writing

Availability, dispatch timing, equipment, update expectations and the delivery commitment should be settled before booking. Urgent capacity may carry a premium, and waiting or last-minute changes can affect both cost and feasibility. Tell VEXO what happens if the delivery is late so the operational requirement can be understood.

Common questions

Is expedited service always a team truck? No. Team driving is one possible arrangement. The suitable option depends on the distance, freight and available time.

Can VEXO guarantee a requested arrival time? Only rely on a commitment explicitly accepted in writing. A requested deadline or quoted transit estimate is not automatically a guarantee.

Discuss an urgent shipment

Send the ready time, delivery deadline, exact locations, freight details and working contact numbers. We will review feasible options against the actual timeline.
