Transportation service

Temperature Controlled

Temperature-controlled service activated only when equipment, instructions, carrier qualifications and commercial terms are confirmed.

Temperature-sensitive freight needs clear instructions from loading through delivery. VEXO Logistics reviews temperature-controlled transportation requests with the required equipment, product conditions and provider qualifications in mind before confirming service.

Start with the product requirements

Chilled, frozen and other temperature-sensitive products can have very different transport needs. Food ingredients, packaged foods and selected commercial products may be considered after review. Pharmaceutical, highly sensitive or specially regulated cargo requires a separate assessment; a refrigerated trailer alone does not establish suitability.

Provide written temperature instructions

Share the required set point, acceptable range, operating mode, loading temperature and any pre-cooling, sanitation or recording requirements. Explain whether the goods are already conditioned for transport and how temperature is to be checked at handover. Airflow and loading patterns must support the product requirements; do not assume the refrigeration unit will bring warm freight down to its required temperature.

Confirm the controls before loading

The accepted plan should identify equipment requirements, carrier responsibilities, temperature checks, seal instructions and the action to take if a reading is outside the agreed range. Where monitoring or downloadable records are required, confirm that capability before booking. Real-time temperature visibility is not included unless specifically agreed.

Plan receiving and exception handling

Provide receiving hours, appointment details and a reachable product decision-maker. Delays at pickup or delivery can affect the load and the equipment schedule. Temperature deviations, suspected contamination or rejected deliveries need prompt communication and instructions from the appropriate responsible party.

Common questions

Can different temperature products travel together? Only if the equipment, separation and written product requirements are compatible and specifically accepted.

Is refrigerated capacity automatically available? No. Service is activated only after equipment, instructions, carrier qualifications and commercial terms are confirmed.

Request a temperature controlled review

Send the commodity, quantity, lane, dates, temperature instructions, shipment value and monitoring requirements so VEXO can assess the proposed scope.
