Transportation service

Less than Truckload

Regional and national LTL coordination for freight that does not require a full trailer.

Move smaller commercial shipments without booking an entire trailer. VEXO Logistics coordinates regional and national less-than-truckload options for palletized freight that can share transportation capacity with other shipments.

When LTL is a good fit

LTL can suit a few pallets of replenishment stock, replacement components or smaller customer orders. It is useful when a dedicated trailer is unnecessary and the freight is packaged to move through a carrier network. Depending on the service, shipments may pass through terminals and be handled more than once before delivery.

Prepare freight for shared transport

Use suitable pallets or crates, protect exposed edges, secure each handling unit and keep labels visible. Provide the full packaged dimensions and weight, including the pallet. Non-stackable freight, long items, fragile products and goods with special handling requirements need to be identified before a quote is confirmed.

Choose the delivery service you need

Tell us whether the receiving location has a dock or forklift. Liftgate service, residential delivery, restricted-access sites, inside delivery and appointment scheduling must be discussed separately. A standard delivery does not automatically include moving freight inside a building, unpacking it or placing it in its final position.

Understand the rate and transit plan

LTL pricing can depend on the lane, commodity, dimensions, weight, density, applicable freight classification and extra services. Carrier measurements or a different commodity classification can change the charge. VEXO reviews the shipment information and requested service with the provider; estimated transit and any available guaranteed option should be distinguished at booking.

Common questions

Can I send a non-stackable pallet? Potentially. Declare it in advance because it affects usable trailer space, acceptance and pricing.

What is the difference between LTL and partial truckload? LTL commonly uses a terminal network. Partial truckload is generally planned around a larger share of trailer space; handling and routing depend on the selected provider.

Request an LTL quote

Send the number of handling units, packaged dimensions, weight, commodity and both addresses. Include dock access and any liftgate or appointment requirements.
