Project and High Value Freight

Custom planning for phased, high-value, sensitive or non-standard freight after risk and insurance review.

Some freight needs a plan built around the cargo, the site and the consequences of disruption. VEXO Logistics reviews project and high-value shipments that involve phased deliveries, sensitive equipment or non-standard handling before accepting the transportation scope.

Plan the shipment as part of the project

A project move may involve equipment arriving in sequence, multiple origins, limited site access or a fixed installation window. High-value freight adds questions about custody, security, handling and financial exposure. A detailed brief helps identify where specialist providers, additional controls or separate services are needed.

Describe the cargo beyond its dimensions

Provide piece-level measurements, weights, declared value, serial numbers where relevant, packing details and handling instructions. Photographs, drawings, centre-of-gravity information and lifting points may be needed for machinery. Identify sensitivity to shock, tilt, moisture, temperature or extended outdoor exposure.

Define responsibilities at every handover

The accepted plan should identify the loading party, carrier, receiving team and any warehouse, crane or rigging provider. Discuss access requirements, delivery sequence, escort or security needs, communication milestones and the procedure if the site cannot receive the load. Specialized handling is included only when specifically agreed.

Review value and coverage before dispatch

Tell VEXO the full shipment value before a provider is selected. Declaring a value does not by itself create full-value insurance or remove contractual liability limits. Requested insurance, provider acceptance and any exclusions or special controls need review before booking. Cargo should not be dispatched on assumptions about coverage.

Common questions

Can several deliveries be coordinated as one project? A phased plan may be possible after reviewing dates, sites, equipment and provider availability.

Does high-value service guarantee against loss? No. The handling plan and any insurance or liability arrangements must be reviewed and confirmed for the specific shipment.

Request a project freight review

Send the project timeline, cargo schedule, dimensions, values, site details and required controls. VEXO will assess the coordination scope and provider requirements.
